About the Role

Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Mold and Die Software Sales Director to lead and grow our North American sales strategy focused on CAM solutions. This individual will oversee a regional team selling across a portfolio that includes WorkNC, VISI, NCSIMUL, and Designer, focusing on mold and die manufacturing customers. This is a strategic leadership role with high visibility and direct impact on revenue and customer success.

Job Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Sales Leadership and Strategy

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue growth across the mold and die CAM software portfolio.

Use market and customer insights to identify emerging opportunities and risks.

Monitor performance metrics and pivot strategies as needed to stay ahead of target.

Team Development and Coaching

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of regional sales professionals.

Cultivate a results-driven culture with a strong focus on consultative and value-based selling.

Empower team with tools and resources to communicate technical solutions to complex customer challenges.

Customer and Stakeholder Management

Maintain and deepen relationships with key manufacturing clients, OEMs, and industry partners.

Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to align sales efforts with product direction and customer needs.

Act as the voice of the customer in strategic roadmap discussions.

Operational Execution

Leverage Salesforce and sales reporting tools to maintain pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.

Drive execution of the Winning Complex Sales (WCS) methodology to accelerate deal velocity and improve close rates.

Represent Hexagon at industry events, trade shows, and executive briefings.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

6-10 years of direct sales leadership experience in CAM software, manufacturing technology, or related industries.

Experience managing regional or national sales teams in B2B high-tech environments.

Proven ability to drive complex, consultative software sales and coach others to do the same.

Strong knowledge of mold and die manufacturing processes and challenges.

Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and sales analytics tools.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across North America.

Work Environment

This is a remote, home-office-based role located in the United States, with travel up to 50% within North America.

Frequent virtual communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Occasional visits to customer sites, tradeshows, or Hexagon offices.

Use of standard office equipment (laptop, phone, headset).

Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
