Postdoctoral Scholar (Finance)
The Marine Metal Isotope & Trace Element Laboratory of the College of Marine Science at the University of South Florida (USF) is offering a Postdoctoral Scholar position in biogeochemical research. Specifically, the project will investigate dissolved iron and isotope cycling in the Pacific Ocean. This position will include analytical laboratory work, as well as mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.
The position is available immediately, with an initial 1-year appointment. The appointment can be extended, contingent upon satisfactory performance and funding availability.Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution and appropriate experience and training within a selected area of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.
Preferred Qualifications: The successful candidate should demonstrate excellence in scholarly productivity in either trace metal chemistry, isotope geochemistry or multi-collector ICPMSThe University of South Florida is a high-impact global research university dedicated to student success.
