Timeline:

The internship program will run from Monday, June 1st, 2026, to Friday, August 7th, 2026. This internship program is a direct pipeline into a full-time role within the PGIM Global Services Rotational Program consisting of two rotations of cross-functional learning over two consecutive years resulting in permanent placement opportunities.

Your Day to Day:

Accounting & Reporting responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining investment accounting, reporting and record keeping systems for various financial instruments
  • Timely and accurate processing of trade activity, income payments, corporate actions, and deal restructurings in sub ledger systems
  • Overseeing financial data quality in the data warehouse and reporting databases

Business Analysis responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Identifying solutions to complex business problems by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and systems requirements to enhance operational performance.
  • Reviewing user and/or Operations requests and conducts data-gathering interviews.
  • Writing business specifications/requirements/rules, redesigning applications/processes, creating mockups, and analyzing user data.
  • Partnering closely with clients and developers to work through the phases of systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Creating test plans to validate that system functionality satisfies associated business requirements.
  • Designing and implementing test for systems changes. Developing test cases matrices, creating actual test cases, executing the test, reviewing of actual vs. expected results, communicating and resolving issues and documenting results.

You will be empowered to contribute in a meaningful way, add new value to organization initiatives and effect change. Your placement within the Investment Operations Internship Program will be in one of the following areas:

Accounting & Reporting -

The accounting team is responsible for the validation of portfolio and transaction level activity including trades, income payments, derivative margins, acquisitions, distributions, corporate actions, and deal restructurings in sub-ledger systems.

Data Quality Group

This team manages the oversight of portfolio and security level financial data quality in the investment risk data warehouse, accounting system and reporting databases.

Financial Accounting and Client Reporting

Financial Accounting and Client Reporting supports the production of client Asset and Investment statements, regulatory reporting, client flow transaction processing, accounting, ledger entries, client record set-up, cash settlement, calculation and collection of fees, revenue reporting, AUM reporting, various reconciliations, and audit support.

Fund and Investor Services

Fund and Investor Services supports the calculation and validation of fund unit values, performance reporting, Transfer Agency - track ownership in commingled accounts; reconcile liabilities to clients' total assets, new business/product development, fund and share class set-up, client flow transaction processing and forecasting, fund and client launch/transition coordination, bank/vendor liaison and oversight, regulatory reporting and financial statement support, trading - incl NSCC, various reconciliations and audit support.

Reporting

The Reporting team supports partners by preparing, analyzing, and distributing limit monitoring, activity, income, and holdings reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis sourced from various internal data warehouses.

Business Analysis -

Business Analysis

The Business Analysis team supports PGIM Investment Accounting Systems through all aspects of the software development life cycle. We work closely with our internal contacts to meet their needs with an increased focus on transformation, automation and improved data/workflow. We look for innovative solutions and continue to add new technology to the mix. Team members work on a variety of projects and support many different systems, applications, programs and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's program graduating between December 2026 and May 2027
  • Minimum 2.8 GPA required
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to understand and analyze basic accounting principles and financial statements
  • Knowledge of investment accounting and of various investment instruments and various technologies which may include (but are not limited to) Jira, Excel, SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, PowerBI /Tableau, Xceptor

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred majors include Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Science, Business Analytics and Information Technology (BAIT). Computer Science, Business or related fields of study
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, interpersonal leadership, organization and communication skills.
  • Client focused and result oriented work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and work as a member of a team.

Note: The salary range for this role is $26.00 to $30.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
