Process Engineer (Finance)



Overall Responsibilities:

A process engineer designs, optimizes, and operates industrial processes to improve efficiency and quality. They work in many industries, including manufacturing, food production, and petrochemicals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and evaluate : Assess existing processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement : Create new processes and strategies, including safety procedures.
  • Monitor and adjust : Use data to adjust variables like temperature, machine speed, and material input.
  • Ensure compliance : Comply with environmental regulations and incorporate green engineering principles.
  • Troubleshoot : Identify and resolve issues and conflicts
  • Communicate : Articulate technical information to stakeholders, including non-technical team members

Characteristics and skills:

  • Proven experience in automotive aftermarket, specifically WD aftermarket and E-commerce
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with winning and positive attitude
  • Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers and copiers.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Educational and other requirements:

  • bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience with process simulations
  • Knowledge of process engineering software packages, such as CAD or AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Good practical experience with CAD or AutoCAD
  • Must be an initiative-taker capable of working both independently, as well as part of a team.
  • A true "collaborative" leader that embraces the idea that he/she is the "go-to" person.
