Training Manager Job Description

General Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Account Management/On-Call Responsibility

The Training Manager will be expected to manage the account in place

or in the absence of the Account Manager. The Training Manager will be responsible for the entire departmental operation and must be well versed in all aspects of the operation. The Training Manager is expected to lead the department by example and be fully prepared to step up into an Account Managers role in a moments notice.

The Training Manager will be responsible and accountable for the account location 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year. The Training Manager will be assigned a cellular telephone and/or a digital pager for the purpose of facilitating 24-hour contact for the assigned account location/s. All calls must be answered in a professional manner and within a 30-minute time period.

All other duties as assigned.

Operational Management

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the security operation at a given site.

Develop and maintain safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for security officers to include but not limited to vehicle safety and environmental safety.

Develop, maintain, and review site-specific Operational Procedures and Post Orders. Ensure that all information is accurate and up to date so that the security staff will have specific guidelines to follow in the event of an emergency or any other type of situation requiring operational guidance.

Develop and implement site-specific training syllabuses, implement applicable corporate training programs, and complete accurate On the Job Training (OJT) documentation on all training aspects. Conduct weekly training at all assigned post locations. Administer written operational procedure testing as directed by the Account Manager. Training development, implementation and documentation may encompass all headquarters and/or affiliate locations.

Communicate requirements to all appropriate Personnel within the selected suppliers organization to ensure all requirements are met.
