Assessment Psychologist (R&D)



The Assessment Psychologist is responsible for providing psychological assessments, evaluations and testing to diagnose and provide treatment recommendations for clients either through private pay or insurance. The Assessment Psychologist also provides comprehensive feedback sessions to discuss findings, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. This role involves working closely with other clinicians and med management providers to provide collaborative coordination of client care.

Compensation: The compensation range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Doctorate degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited programLicense/Certification: MN LP licensurePsychological assessment experience required and experience with adult ASD/ADHD testing is preferred.Exhibit good communication, judgement, honesty, integrity, responsibility, and punctualityAbility to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goalsProficient in utilizing computers, typing, learning, and navigating multiple applications/systems simultaneously including electronic health records (EHR)Strong working proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Calendar, Teams Chat, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Maintain strict confidentiality handling client information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and Ellie policiesDemonstrate awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture

Responsibilities include:
Provide psychological assessments to adults by administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests/assessments. Provide comprehensive psychological assessment reports that summarize findings, diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Provide feedback sessions with assessment results to clients and their families. Completion of 4+ assessments per week in order to maintain full-time status with a two-week completion time from the initial visit. Participate in psychologist consult group twice per month. Interact with clients to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, or vocational development.Refer clients to specialists, institutions, and/or support services as necessaryProvide consultation services to referring therapists or med management providers
