Position Overview:

The People Experience Coordinator plays a key role in shaping a positive and connected workplace culture. This position is responsible for planning and executing employee engagement events, managing recognition programs, and leading internal communication efforts across multiple channels. From organizing memorable experiences to crafting clear and inspiring messages, this role ensures employees feel informed, appreciated, and aligned with the company's mission. The ideal candidate is a creative communicator, detail-oriented planner, and passionate advocate for employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Engagement Events
· Plan, coordinate, and host in-person and virtual events (e.g., appreciation days, company food days, recognition events, on-site and off-site activities).
· Manage logistics including venues, vendors, materials, and tech setup.
· Serve as the host to ensure smooth execution and high participation.
· Partner with departments and leaders to tailor events to team needs and business goals.
Recognition Programs
· Design and facilitate recognition programs that celebrate employee contributions and milestones.
· Promote participation and visibility through internal channels.
· Track program impact and continuously improve based on feedback.
Internal Communications
· Draft and deliver engaging internal communications.
· Serve as the point of contact for all internal messaging needs across departments.
· Ensure consistency and alignment of tone, voice, and branding.
· Manage SharePoint sites, communication boards, and digital signage.
· Create and distribute newsletters and other recurring communications.
Coordination & Collaboration
· Maintain an events and communication calendar to ensure a consistent and targeted approach to communication and engagement.
· Gather employee feedback and use insights to shape future engagement strategies.
· Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure alignment between internal messaging and external brand communication.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Communications, HR, Marketing, or a related field.
· 2+ years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications, or event planning.
· Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and communication tools.
· Creative, organized, and collaborative mindset with strong project management skills.


Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works standard business hours, Monday-Friday; however, it will require flexibility to support events, including nights and weekends. This position will require 20% travel.
Physical and Mental Demands:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.

· Mental demands include multi-tasking, decision making, problem solving, comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, and synthesizing data.
