Position Summary:

The Training Coordinator is responsible for creating, coordinating, and implementing effective training programs for employees. This role works closely with cross-functional teamsincluding Operations, Engineering, and Quality to develop robust and standardized training content that ensures employee competency, compliance, and operational excellence. The Training Coordinator will assess training needs, maintain training records, and continuously improve training methods to support workforce development and organizational goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources and Quality departments to design and deliver cross functional training content.
  • Create Work Instructions, single-point lessons, and other content for training purposes.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor training progress for all new hires and position changes.
  • Maintain and update training and versatility matrixes to maintain data quality.
  • Work with managers to identify and recommend training needs.
  • Remain flexible to support and deliver training across three shifts in a manufacturing environment (core hours will be during first shift/office hours).
  • Administrative tasks as needed; printing, copying organizing learning materials, tracking sign-off training sheets.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Basic math & computer skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal).
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across teams and departments.
  • Some lifting less than 30 pounds.
  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally working in the machining areas with exposure to machining oils, mist, and coolants.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience withproblem solving tools.
  • 1-5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • 1-5 years experience in training or learning and development preferred.
