Job Description:

This position will support the buy/sell process and the Dairy Sourcing team. This partner will be responsible for maintaining Oracle and PLM databases, and will be a central contact for new items. The position will include onboarding of new suppliers, routine reporting, data entry and establishing and maintaining measurements for the team.

What you'll do:

  • Purchase bulk, ingredients and packaging from suppliers
  • Process orders and communicate details to Customer Service and Logistics via Proforma and Supplement Proforma
  • Become knowledgeable in systems used in sourcing, which includes: Supplier Portal, SpecSafe, PLM, Oracle, Crystal and Power BI
  • Maintain data in the PLM and Oracle system, which includes: item set up/maintenance, COM maintenance, IPV resolution
  • Monitor, track and verify eCOA data from key suppliers to complete shipments and receipts
  • Become process owner for the complaint resolution (SOS) process
  • Work with Customer Service and AP to resolve customer deductions
  • Become process owner for the supplier onboarding process via Supplier Portal.
  • This would also include ensuring supplier documents and documentation standards are met (COI, hold harmless, confidentiality, allergens, Halal, Kosher, etc.)
  • Coordinate sales of ingredient, bulk and packaging shipments to Schreiber Distribution Centers.
  • Work with plants to convert Item Codes to Stock Numbers
  • Update and maintain monthly reports (eCOA, Sales Orders, Allergens, approved suppliers, complaint dashboard, IPV dashboard, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain tools to support team measurement requirements (IPV Match Rate, IPV resolution, cost quote turnaround time, OTIF, complaint resolution)
  • Manage and account for bulk sales inventory with Finance team members
  • Provide backup support to other team members as needed
  • Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups. Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.
