Lead Winder (Manufacturing)

This is a Lead Winding position for 2nd Shift. The hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am.
This position is responsible for maintaining winding production, metric tracking and ensuring the shift is working safely.
Assist winders in setting up machinesMoving materials within the shop to stage for machine setupCoordinate with maintenance to schedule preventative maintenanceEnsure shop completes unscheduled downtime target and daily schedule attainment goalsCommunicate with material handlers and machine operators to ensure flow is moving in/out of shopService as back-up winderUtilize radio to make communication with the winding shopServe as training coordinator for the windersAnswer questions from team membersPopulates machine run-time data on the LEAN board after each shiftAssist supervisor with inventory reports and act as supervisor in leads absence
