Materials Engineer II (Finance)



Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to established set of tools aimed at evaluating materials to identify the presence and extent of prohibited or hazardous substances used in hardware manufactured by Honeywell.

You will work under directly for the Sr Engineering Manager, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico beginning onsite and transitioning to a hybrid position.

You will review new designs to ensure material and processes meet customers' need. You will perform standard work to support new products such as (but not limited to) Hazardous Material Analysis, and Fungus Analysis. In addition, you will apply expertise to support materials and processes issues and potential failure analyses.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 3+ years of chemical, material, mechanical engineering or chemistry experience
  • 3+ years of experience in drawing review and materials selection/analysis
  • Ability to read, write and speak English

  • Experience using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
