Community Engagement Specialist (Personal Services)

The Community Engagement Specialist I is required to participate as part of a clinical team in order to target individuals who have a diagnosis of mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring disorder and who are at risk of psychiatric inpatient admission, other residential, or out of home placement. The Community Engagement Specialist I is responsible for assisting individuals in developing a network of community resources, engaging individuals in appropriate supportive and preventative services, successfully transitioning individuals from inpatient hospital treatment to live safely and securely within the community of their choice, and providing evidenced based interventions to strengthen each individual's recovery and resiliency within the community.

Full time staff (40 hours every week) receive the following:
