Staff Accountant (Marketing)



As a Staff Accountant experienced in all aspects of accounting, you will play an integral part in the preparation of financial reports to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit & loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. You will also perform general accounting and other related duties for the organization.

Your Impact:

Participate in the preparation of monthly balance sheets, profit & loss statements and other financial documents.Maintain monthly reconciliations, including but not limited to bank accounts, assets and liabilities and reports issues to be resolved.Journal entry creation and posting.Review vendor invoices for proper coding and adherence to the organizations capitalization policy.Support the accounting team by assisting other areas as needed.

Your Profile:

3+ years experience in all facets of accounting.Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.Experience with managing time with simultaneous tasks and projects.Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.Experience in QuickBooks is a plusExpertise in handling confidential and sensitive employee, customer, and company information. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, high attention to Excel.Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Inquisitive mind to learn and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Available to commute to Topeka, KS office.
