Lead Project Engineer (Finance)



Honeywell is hiring a Lead Project Engineer. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Be part of the Auxiliary Power Unit Project Engineering team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Power Systems for the G570 APU System. This position will be a leader within the Systems Engineering team, working directly with Project Leadership, the Customer and a cross-functional team.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or Systems engineering

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage systems engineering efforts for the G570 APU Program including requirements management, authoring systems documents, and system integration
  • Drive requirements based engineering MOS and efforts for requirements verification and validation
  • Communicate with team leadership and the customer regarding program status
  • Manage efforts within allocated budget and schedule
  • Complete monthly budget and schedule updates (CAM activities)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
