Relationship Manager (Finance)



The Relationship Manager will report to the Director, Alternative Asset Custody. This role is responsible for managing and developing client relationships and working closely with third party administrators, consultants, plan sponsors and small to midsize record keepers and other channel partners as assigned. The RM will partner with the Sales Directors within assigned territories, to on-board new opportunities while maintaining and identifying areas of opportunity to retain and grow client relationships. The Relationship Manager and Sales Director will work as a team within their assigned territory to achieve overall territory goals and objectives.
• Work with Sales Director within assigned territory to establish annual plan to effectively work territory as a team to meet new account and revenue goals.
• Deepen existing client relationships through multiple touch points throughout the year (quarterly account reviews for example) to create opportunities for Inspira.
• Research and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of client's business focus, plan design, and company news for assigned partner relationships
• Maintain knowledge of current and proposed legislation, sharing relevant information with key contacts
• Develop a plan for recurring touchpoints with assigned relationships (including plan sponsors for enterprise accounts) and pursue opportunities for additional business that may include, but is not limited to, communication through email, phone calls, in-person meetings and presentations, after-hours events, conferences attendance, etc.
• Provide scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to select partners and clients and assist with special projects as requested
• Organize daily workflow to determine client needs, tracking all activities and communication in the CRM system.
• Work cross-functionally with various individuals at all levels of the business, both internally and externally
• Participate in internal meetings to identify, design, and implement strategies and project plans
• Effectively use all third-party tools that assist in regional account management (Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, ERISApedia)
• Keep all top account data up to date in CRM system
• Timely internal process management (manage leads assigned to region, book of business updates in CRM, expense reports, Inspira compliance requirements etc.)
• Conduct in-person visits with top existing accounts to strengthen relationships and find new opportunities (in person meetings with top 5 TPAs)
• Work well with internal business partners such as marketing, product, and operations to drive strong cross unit communication, project progress and customer service and success
