Sales Administrator (Administrative)

As a Sales Administrator/Lead Catcher, you will be responsible for setting up appointments and responding to inbound sales leads quickly and professionally to ensure high conversion rates. This role acts as the first point of contact for potential customers and plays a critical part in qualifying leads, gathering essential information, and routing them to the appropriate sales representative or department. The Sales Administrators ensures all leads are followed up on in a timely and organized manner, maintaining a high standard of communication and customer service.

What you'll do:

  • Monitor incoming leads from various channels (web forms, phone calls, email, referrals, etc.).
  • Respond promptly to new inquiries to ensure a fast turnaround time.
  • Qualify leads by asking key questions to determine interest, need, budget, and timeline.
  • Enter and update lead information accurately in BAM or lead management system.
  • Assign qualified leads to the appropriate sales team or representative.
  • Follow up with unresponsive leads to maintain engagement and interest.
  • Track and report lead performance and conversion rates to support sales strategies.

Where you'll work:

Culligan Sales Administrators/Lead Catchers spend all their time working in the dealership, more specifically in an office environment requiring regular use of computers and multi-line phones – this means you must be able to sit for extended periods of time. While our Sales Administrators primarily work Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, this role may require some evenings and weekends as business needs require.

Technically speaking, the ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrated competency in computer and/or tablet use, with above average skills in computer applications. Our Sales Administrators must be able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software systems as needed. We expect our Sales Administrators to type a minimum of 40wpm, including ten-key, accurately and by touch. The ideal candidate's technical skillset should be supported by strong communication skills, commitment to teamwork, and effective problem-solving skills.
