Lead Resource Navigator, Reflections (Personal Services)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Resource Navigator (part of our Goodwill Reflections team) will support and deliver programs and services promoting employee wellbeing, helping to drive performance, engagement, and retention across our organization that meet the organizational mission and strategic goals. Services may include individual and financial counseling, family or life event adjustment issues, skills development, mental health services, and
supporting employees through alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence, and other sensitive issues. This
position is expected to be visible and provide direct assistance at all assigned Goodwill of Southwestern PA
locations. The Reflections Lead Resource Navigator cultivates trust and builds relationships across all Goodwill SWPA divisions by leading with cultural  competence and providing services to achieve maximum impact on employee outcomes. This position is responsible for facilitating individual service plan development. The Reflections Lead Resource Navigator assists employees with accessing support services and maintains up-to-date knowledge of community resources within their assigned service territory. In addition to providing direct navigation services,the Lead Navigator partners with the Director of Reflections to develop and implement standardized training for all Resource Navigators, ensure consistency in program delivery, and contribute to program evaluation and
improvement. This role plays a key part in integrating mission services across Goodwill of Southwestern PA locations and serves as a subject matter resource for program education, service delivery, and community engagement.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

  • Provide confidential intake and needs assessment for employees, including providing support through the referral process to agency and community resources as appropriate.
  • Conduct ongoing meetings with employees at their location or virtually to ensure quality service delivery; conduct progress reviews of goals in accordance with program guidelines; and provide corresponding documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and develop relationships with local community services to meet the needs of Goodwill employees seeking assistance, including but not limited to physical, social, cultural, and other livelihood (such as transportation, food, shelter) needs.
  • Provide peer mentorship and guidance to all new and existing Resource Navigators, providing  ongoing feedback to program Director.
  • Support adoption of case management software through training and roll-out with the Resource Navigation team
  • Identify, prioritize, and support continuous improvement efforts related to program service delivery and administration under the direction of Program Director.
  • Evaluate available resources to ensure that opportunities are of appropriate quality and that resources are used effectively

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday (Hours may vary depending on department needs)

Travel: This position requires occasional travel, and the individual must be willing to travel as needed.

Salary: $23.16/ hourly

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma AND 6+ years of Experience working with individuals in crisis or vulnerable populations OR experience with case management, locating community and social services for at-risk or vulnerable populations.
    OR
  • Associates degree AND 4+ years of Experience working with individuals in crisis or vulnerable populations OR experience with case management, locating
    community and social services for at-risk or vulnerable populations.
  • Bachelors degree AND 2+ years of Experience working with individuals in crisis or vulnerable populations OR experience with case management, locating
    community and social services for at-risk or vulnerable populations.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working with individuals in crisis or vulnerable populations OR experience with case management, locating
    community and social services for at-risk or vulnerable populations.

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    • Experience with creating and delivering training and awareness content.
    • Knowledge of trauma-informed practice

         REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

        • Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI, and PA PATCH)
