Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Collaboration Services leader to join our Global Information Technology team at our Wilmington, Delaware location. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the End user computing function. This position is hybrid and will report to the Global Client Services Manager.

The Digital Collaboration Services leader has end-to-end accountability for the overall experience of our employees on the usage and adoption of our O365 suite and collaboration infrastructure services (Teams, One Drive, meeting room equipment, etc). This includes driving employee adoption, operations, performance, availability and standards. Continually expanding and improving the collaboration capabilities of the Ashland team is a core focus of this role.

Interested candidates must have a solid understanding of the entire Microsoft M365 and Collaboration suite, (including Copilot and other AI capabilities). Knowledge in End-point Security, Workplace Technology and Windows Operating Systems will be a plus. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engaging with the Ashland user community and peer IT leaders. This role will also own/manage the relationship with the resources from Ashland's MSP partner and Microsoft to deliver the required operational services.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure reliable and secure O365 & collaboration platform operations.
  • Manage the Microsoft O365 platform including user accounts, groups, optimizing licenses and maintaining compliance with contractual agreements
  • Implement/enforce/monitor Ashland AI, Cyber and data protection policies that apply to the MS O365 environment
  • Be knowledgeable about planned platform changes or enhancements implemented by Microsoft and ensure appropriate changes are smoothly deployed.
  • Proactively manage the performance and health of the O365 platform via data driven assessments
  • Optimize system configuration for the Ashland environment and community
  • Ensure backup solutions for the O365 data are in place and meet Ashland's requirements
  • Actively monitor and maintain the usage of Teams based conference rooms
  • User support and problem resolution
  • Perform annual budgeting for the environment
  • Actively drive adoption and usage
  • Develop and execute roadmaps for the O365 platform and associated tools and applications in partnership with Microsoft
  • Plan and lead deployment of O365 features and AI related capabilities
  • Develop training / awareness plans (through workshops, LinkedIn and Microsoft training options) to enhance productivity user skills
  • Ensure the integration between various O365 components is working well
  • Develop integration plans between O365 components external platforms in use at Ashland
  • Manage global site-based Teams conferencing capabilities (conference rooms and remote)
  • Create and maintain O365 related documentation (such as user guides, technical manuals, policy documents).
  • Must be ready to deploy, configure, and optimize enterprise collaboration solutions to improve productivity and user experience

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or at least 5 years equivalent experience
  • Level 3 experience in setting up and managing Office 365 tenants
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions, Active Directory services, Windows, Azure, Microsoft SCCM, and security tools (Entra, MFA, Intune)
  • Direct experience in managing and configuring Teams infrastructure & understanding/experience in configuring and supporting conference room devices would be a plus.
  • Experience supporting telephony, video conferencing, and collaboration devices.
  • ITIL Certifications and experience
  • Experience managing third party service providers
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%, domestically
  • Authorized to work in the US
