WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As our Department Assistant, you will be in a dynamic role that will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Product Support Operations team, serving all Pape' operating companies within the department.

You'll have the opportunity to engage in a variety of responsibilities, from managing vendor pricing data and coordinating physical inventory events, to organizing crucial documentation and maintaining seamless departmental workflows. Your contributions will ensure timely and accurate communications, effective scheduling, and well-supported operations that help our team deliver exceptional service.

Success in this position requires a passion for organization, a sharp eye for accuracy, and the ability to juggle competing priorities with professionalism and poise. You'll support our pricing and vendor relations by ensuring data integrity, participating in audits, and helping document important follow-ups from vendor interactions. You'll also play a central role in coordinating inventory efforts—planning travel, organizing calendars, escalating incomplete submissions, and helping departments stay on track with key milestones. As a go-to resource for administrative support, you'll handle everything from coding payables and managing office supplies to updating SharePoint and preparing reports used by our leadership team.

Beyond technical tasks, this is a highly collaborative role. You'll build strong relationships with colleagues across departments, communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams, and support seasonal projects, new team member onboarding, and high-demand situations. WHAT YOU NEED:

Education & Experience

  • Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) required.
  • 2 or more years of related experience in administrative support, operations, inventory coordination, or pricing.
  • Prior experience in parts/service operations or dealership environment is a plus.
Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with ERP systems, SharePoint, and reporting tools preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, technical procedures, and policy documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a team-first attitude.

Compensation: $19-23/hr (Depending on Experience)
