Inventory Cycle Counter

Summary
The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring manufacturing inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to align with reported inventory. Supports daily, weekly, and monthly inventory cycle counts. Compiles and maintains physical and electronic records of the type, quantity, and value of on-hand inventories. Verifies electronic data against physical counts and adjusts errors in count or computation. The Cycle Counter reports to the Materials Manager and is located at our new location in Waterloo, Iowa

Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Performs regular, recurring counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and maintain up-to-date records.Maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers.Ensure accuracy of data in the system, including location, quantity on hand, etc.Assist in locating materials required for production. Investigate, resolve, and prevent inventory discrepancies by reviewing transaction history in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).Maintain daily inventory reconciliation reports.Required to cross-train in the Materials office to fill in for absences.Perform audit function as needed to support the direction of the Quality team.Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy.Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products.Report damaged storage media, ie, racking, bins, cartons, shelving, or any issue that could lead to either a safety or inventory count or damage.Regular and reliable attendance. Participate in all TVS SCS quality and excellence initiatives.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee could be exposed to high forklift traffic and is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds, anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
This job is performed in a complex manufacturing environment with multiple workstations, heavy machinery and frequent forklift traffic. The facility is subject to seasonal temperature changes. Employees must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toed shoes and any additional equipment as specified by company safety guidelines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full Time, Non-Exempt - 3rd Shift.
Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required. Ability to work weekends and potentially holidays to support physical Inventory efforts when applicable.

Travel
Travel may be required between locations to support other TVS operations with inventory counts and reconciliation.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredCertified or ability to become certified to operate forklift (sit down, scissor lift, etc.)2+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environmentStrong computer skills: MS Office, OutlookPrior experience with RF technologyExperience with a WMS system is required
JDA/Blue Yonder or SAP experience preferred
Previous experience utilizing 6S Housekeeping and organization preferredHands-on experience in a manufacturing environment involving tire and wheel operations is strongly preferred
