IT Product Manager III - Products and Services (Finance)
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for developing and executing IT product strategy and planning and ensuring alignment of the continuous improvement of business application solutions with business goals and priorities for one or more IT Products.
IT Products support the needs of Vertex internal business processes and the users through integrated business application solutions.
This individual will play a strategic role in shaping and executing business strategies that define the market positioning of our products. This individual will partner closely with senior leaders across Commercial Product Management, Sales, and Architecture to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. They will guide cross-functional collaboration to influence the design of bundle configurations, stand-alone offerings, and pricing models.
A key responsibility of this role is to simplify, reducing pricing complexity and promoting the standardization of product configurations to enhance scalability and operational efficiency. Leveraging enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, and DocuSign, the IT Product Manager will ensure that technology solutions deliver measurable business value, align with strategic objectives, and support long-term growth.
This individual establishes and collaborates with cross-functional teams of Business Product Owners, other IT Product Managers, Enterprise and Solution Architects, Compliance, development and support teams, and various stakeholders to accomplish objectives.
