Job Title: Digital Product Developer I

Reports to: Director, Product Development - HOKA Apparel

Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid)

The Role

As a Digital Apparel Prototyping Specialist, you will lead lower complexity projects for apparel for a single Deckers brand. You will be responsible for developing 3D digital prototypes of apparel using tools such as CLO 3D and Browzwear (VStitcher). Your role will involve collaborating with designers, technical design and developers, product managers, and factory partners to translate 2D sketches and tech packs into accurate 3D garments. You will optimize digital assets for use in Go to Market Meetings, e-commerce, virtual try-on, and AR/VR platforms. Additionally, you will create and maintain digital libraries of fabrics, trims, and avatars, support the integration of digital workflows into the product development lifecycle to reduce physical sampling and improve speed to market, troubleshoot fit and construction issues in digital garments, and stay current with emerging technologies in digital fashion, 3D modeling, and virtual environments.

Your Impact

  • Develop 3D digital prototypes of apparel using tools such as CLO 3D and Browzwear (VStitcher)
  • Collaborate with designers, technical design and developers, product managers, and factory partners to translate 2D sketches and tech packs into accurate 3D garments
  • Optimize digital assets for use in Go to Market Meetings, e-commerce, virtual try-on, and AR/VR platforms

  • Troubleshoot fit and construction issues in digital garments and provide solutions
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in digital fashion, 3D modeling, and virtual environments

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience building digital products in the industry
  • Understanding of material applications for product use
  • General knowledge of product construction and fit
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe applications
  • Proficient in Romans CAD or CLO 3D/Browzwear
