Project & Operations Supervisor (Information Technology)

Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Project & Operations Supervisor on our Occupational Health Services team (PAOS). In this role, you will oversee the operations team's performance, focusing on timeliness, quality, and customer service for our Federal Bureau of Investigation contract. You will be expected to manage your responsibilities independently, proactively identifying challenges to present meaningful solutions and actionable options to the Operations Manager. Additional responsibilities include leading and participating in ongoing projects and outreach events, providing status updates, and preparing reports and metrics.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight:
    • Responsible for direct reports performance in order to achieve the operational goals of timeliness, quality, and customer service
    • Responsible for coordinating direct report onboarding and training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions
    • Manage processes and procedures to ensure timely and quality completion of work according to clients' contractual obligations
    • Responsible for the daily operational workflow, to include communication with external and internal customers, resolution of claimant, provider, and client issues, and identify workflow concerns for specific cases and employees
    • Ensure team members adhere to standard procedures and workflows
    • Manage processes focused on effective customer service, ensure immediate escalation of issues, and participate in meetings to discuss the case management process/issues
    • Backup support to line staff when needed
  • Customer Inquiries:
    • Oversee customer requests, concerns, and issues.
    • Track all inquiries, coordinate with internal teams for resolution, respond and provide updates to the customer, and ensure requests are closed out in a timely manner
  • Reporting:
    • Analyze and report on operational metrics
    • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports as designated by the OM/PM. Prepares the monthly invoice self-assessment penalty report and processes invoice discrepancies
  • Compliance & Audits:
    • Understand contractual language and conduct various audits to ensure compliance with performance metrics
    • Provide results and recommendations
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Actively participate in and contribute to the development and communication of strategic objectives, plans, and performance metrics to meet contractual compliance
  • Additional Duties:
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
  • 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with a Master's degree
  • 2 years must be supervising or leading teams/projects
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check and/or obtain and maintain additional clearances as specified by the contract (e.g., NACI, PIV, SMS, TMS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years working in a health care environment
  • Project management experience

  • Standard working hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM PST
