Logistics Coordinator (Finance)



Job Summary

Respond to, determine and coordinate reroute requests from Medline divisions, Sales and/or Customer Service.

Job Description

  • Analyze backorder lines. Determine if potential reroute to a viable shipping plant based on stock status and order profitability using approximate shipping expense is warranted.

  • Communicate with sales reps, customer service specialists and/or internal departments on sourcing and/or routing decisions.

  • Work with Manager, Logistics to change guidelines based on specific issues, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

  • High school diploma. 

Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 1 year related SAP experience and/or SAP training.

Additional

  • Ability to estimate simple math computations quickly and accurately. 

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).

  • Knowledge of Access.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$22.00 - $30.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
