Danish Language Instructor - Online (M-F, AM) (Education)
ICA is currently seeking an online Danish Language Instructor to teach at our facility in Arlington, VA (near Rosslyn metro). The candidates should have at least two years of experience teaching the target language in a proficiency-oriented environment to adult students on an intensive basis.
Job Details:
- Period of performance: 9/2/25 - 2/20/26
- Training days: M-F
- Daily hours: 5 instructional hours + 1.25 hours of prep (0.25 hours of per each hour taught)
- Hours every other Wednesday: 3 instructional hours + 0.75 prep
- Training type: acquisition
- Training goal: ILR3
- Testing format: FSI
- Number of students: 1
- The training program will include homework activities and should focus on developing language skills such as: speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of full-time experience teaching adult students
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Native speaker of the Danish language
- Teaching experience with Zoom online platform preferred.
