Quality Engineer Technical Lead (Finance)



As a Quality Engineer Technical Lead here at Honeywell, you will be a key leader in our unwavering commitment to achieving quality excellence. You will report directly to our Site Supervisor, and you'll work out of our El Paso, TX location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the future of Honeywell by championing operational excellence strategies to improve quality and delivery early in the development and transition process. Your expertise in analyzing intricate quality performance metrics will identify areas for improvement, while your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will drive continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, manage, and empower the quality engineering team, setting an unwavering standard of excellence.
Develop and implement advanced quality control processes and procedures.
Engage in the continuous monitoring and analysis of intricate quality performance metrics.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing/Operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of advanced quality engineering practices/APQP.
  • Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • US Citizen or permanent resident is required due to government contracts.

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Expert Certification.
  • Knowledge or experience with regulatory requirements and ISO 9000:2000, AS9100 Quality Systems.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret business performance and financial data, define actions, and implement solutions.
