SET THE COURSE

The Assistant Omni Merchant supports the development and execution of the business for a specific product category for both physical and online stores. The role assists Omni Merchants with product selection, tool and data upkeep and business analysis. The Assistant Omni Merchant will collaborate with cross-functional teams for various projects, ensuring delivery of the right product, in the right place, at the right time.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

• Assist the Omni Merchant Team in developing and executing seasonal merchandising strategies that align with the divisional strategy.
• Manage and upkeep data within assortment tools, including lineplan documents and assortment grids.
• Analyze Big & Tall Men's sales performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize product assortments, and drive current and future sales growth.
• Support the seasonal product strategy meetings with documentation and data.
• Manage and organize Direct to Guest divisional sample line. Prepare samples and supporting documentation for meetings and presentations.
• "Student of the Market & Voice of the Guest" Brings knowledge and understanding of our target guest through regional and store feedback, store visits, ratings and reviews, market data, and guest segmentation.
• Performs competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed for various projects.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

• 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or a related field, preferably in an omni channel retail environment.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with merchandising software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving business.

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual's experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.

Rate Range: $24.57 to $36.83 hourly
