Inside Sales Supervisor (Finance)



How You Will Make an Impact

The Inside Sales Supervisor manages the RTE inside sales personnel and the implementation and maintenance of the processes required to ensure standardized work across all sites in the company. This position reports through Sales and is key to insuring quotations, order entry and communications are completed in a timely fashion for our customers - both internal and external. Significant knowledge of RTE products and processes is necessary in addition to strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The Nuts and Bolts

  • Organize and assist team to support outside sales and customers with quotations, pool chassis holds, and order entry
  • Ensure required profit margins are met during the quotation process
  • Establish understanding of proper labor hours that are quoted with operations and adjust future quotes when applicable
  • Work with the outside sales team to ensure proper requests and acceptances with OEMS are completed in a timely fashion for pool vehicles (completed by dealer)
  • Ensure all sales associates are supported equally and without prejudice by the inside sales team
  • Work with outside sales team to ensure teamwork is active between inside/outside teams
  • Oversee TEQuote for region and make sure parts, kits and pricing are accurate
  • Provide training for team to perform functions necessary to support sales and customer needs
  • Work closely with the Estimating leadership and team to ensure the process for quotation hand off is both timely and accurate (when required)
  • Utilize the preferred supplier network to build quotations and contact suppliers directly for price concessions on larger opportunities
  • Assist team with technical inquiries to facilitate accurate design for our customers
  • Communicate directly with customers when required to clarify specifications or explain exceptions to their request
  • Develop working relationships with Purchasing and Engineering and involve them as appropriate to ensure a smooth flow of information on all bills of material
  • Ensure quotations are completed in a timely manner, continually updating the system and the sales representative if delays are anticipated
  • Become adept with the computer systems to utilize the appropriate quoting tools and methods to complete quotes in a timely and accurate manner

Required Credentials

  • Bachelors or Associate Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3-5 years of experience successful managing a team of direct reports
  • Experience in the truck equipment, OEM automotive or similar industry - preferred
  • Manufacturing industry or background experience preferred
  • Proactive problem solver with high EQ
  • Highly competitive and energetic
  • Adapts well to change
  • Good with numbers and extracting data
  • Willing to travel up to 15% - 20%
