THE POSITION
Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIPĀ®), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. We expect this role, dedicated to the PPE business, will be part of this future transaction when it closes.
As a Supplier Quality Engineering Manager for North America here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of quality engineers to ensure that our suppliers meet Honeywell's quality standards and strategy in the manufacture of components for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will be responsible for driving supplier performance improvement, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the highest level of quality in our supply chain. You will report directly to our Director of Supplier Management and BTS Quality and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by managing the day-to-day activities of your team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for conducting supplier audits, performing root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to address quality issues.
