Accounts Payable Team - County Materials (Finance)

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Team member for our customer, County Materials in Marathon, WI.

Job Duties:
Code invoices with correct general ledger numbers for locations and expenses.Enter invoices for payment.Scan, email, and deliver invoices to the correct approvers for approval.Enter use tax, temp labor, and project information on spreadsheets.Answer calls in regard to payment statuses.Print, date stamp, and paperclip approved invoices for payment.Send out tax exemption certificates.Set up new vendor accounts in SXE.Print checks, fold, and mail.Call vendors about payment statuses or open invoices.Reconcile monthly statements from vendors.Prepare credit applications.Follow procedures and internal controls for authorized approvals.

Office working environment.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting frequently.Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds rarely.Standing / Walking / Climbing.
Experience & Qualifications:
Associates degree in Accounting preferred.0-2 years experience in related field preferred.Must be proficient in Microsoft products.Excellent communication skills.Good mathematical skills.Pro-active, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player and positive attitude is a must.Accuracy and detail oriented.
