Stockroom Associate I (Manufacturing)



Job Summary:

Primary duties include kitting work orders, issuing parts, stocking shelves, and performing inventory transactions in the computer (MRP system).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pick, kit and issue parts to work orders. Both physically and in the MRP system.
  • Audit others work for accuracy.
  • Validate inventory for correct labels, identification, and quantities.
  • Count parts physically, as well as using equipment.
  • Move inventory both physically, as well as in the MRP system.
  • Maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy at all times.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all “customers” of the warehouse.
  • Ability to work under high levels of stress, pressure and scrutiny.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Work Experience

  • 0 years direct experience required.
  • High School Diploma, required.
  • Experience working on a computer in a work setting, required.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Must be able to do simple math calculations.
  • Experience using outlook or other e-mail platforms.
  • Must have the highest level of attention to detail and accuracy, required.
  • Ability to work on highly repetitive tasks or routine duties daily.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and deadlines, while maintaining complete accuracy.
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Must be a team player as well as be able to work independently.
  • Must verify (audit) the work of others.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Must be able to accept constructive criticism and feedback about performance.
  • Must be able to learn new tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Must be able to stand at a work station all day.
  • Must have legible hand writing.
  • Must be able to walk, crouch, reach and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Must pass J-STD-001 Module 1 and 6, taught on site.

Pay Range:  $20.00 to $24.00 per hour DOE

Due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3).
