ICC-Certified Technician Inspector – Fire Suppression & Extinguishers (Security)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician Inspector to join our fire protection team. This role requires ICC Certification in North Carolina and experience in inspecting pre-engineered kitchen suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA standards and state regulations.
?? Responsibilities:

Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on kitchen fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers

Ensure compliance with all applicable codes (NFPA, local AHJ, ICC standards)

Accurately complete inspection reports and maintain service documentation

Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams

Travel to customer sites throughout assigned territory

? Requirements:

Valid ICC Certification for Fire Extinguishers and Pre-Engineered Systems (NC)

High school diploma or equivalent

Clean driving record and valid driver's license

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and customer service skills

?? Preferred: NICET certification, previous fire protection experience
