JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Purpose:

The Senior Talent Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful training and leadership development programs that build organizational capability and drive performance. This role requires expertise in applying the ADDIE model to manage multiple training initiatives concurrently while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a skilled facilitator who can lead engaging in-person and virtual workshops, with a strong emphasis on leadership development initiatives. Additionally, this position supports LMS administration, SOP development, stakeholder engagement, performance metrics reporting, and program coordination across the enterprise.Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field preferred.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in training, talent development, or instructional design.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a record of overseeing concurrent initiatives and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with experience leading leadership development sessions.
  • Proficiency with LMS administration and training program reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), LMS software, and specialized training content development tools.
  • Advanced instructional design skills with an emphasis on creating interactive and impactful training sessions.
  • Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Competencies:
  • Certification in instructional design, facilitation, or leadership development (e.g., CPLP/ATD, DDI, FranklinCovey).
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate) and virtual platforms (Zoom, MS Teams).
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Adaptability and self-motivation, with a steadfast commitment to quality and compliance.
Compensation:
  • The annual salary range for this position will be $83,000 - $104,000/yr.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Design & Development (ADDIE): Conduct needs assessments and analyze performance gaps to inform training strategies. Design, develop, and implement effective learning solutions using the ADDIE model. Create facilitator guides, participant materials, eLearning modules, and blended learning solutions.
  • Facilitation & Delivery: Facilitate dynamic in-person and virtual workshops, ensuring engaging and interactive learning experiences. Deliver leadership development content, team-building sessions, and core skills training across various levels of the organization.
  • Program Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage multiple training projects concurrently, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met Partner with HR, business leaders, and SMEs to align programs with organizational priorities. Act as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and seamless program delivery.
  • Mentoring & Coaching: Provide guidance and support to junior team members and colleagues to foster professional growth, enhance skills, and prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting: Monitor, track, and report on training participation, effectiveness, and performance metrics. Analyze feedback and learning data to recommend program improvements and demonstrate ROI.
  • LMS & SOP Support: Support the administration, reporting, and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS). Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and scalability of learning processes.
  • Leadership Development Focus: Collaborate on the design and delivery of leadership development programs to build a strong leadership pipeline. Provide coaching, feedback, and facilitation to enhance leadership skills and organizational capability.
