We are seeking an action-oriented Global Supply Chain Manager - Logistics & Inventory with a systems-thinking mindset to join our supply chain team and play a vital role in optimizing and deploying our global logistics strategy.

Job Summary

The Global Supply Chain Manager - Logistics & Inventory will lead our enterprise-wide logistics, transportation, and inventory strategy. This is a key leadership role responsible for turning logistics into a strategic competitive advantage - optimizing freight cost, delivery performance, and working capital while building global standards in warehouse operations, transportation management, and inventory accuracy. What You'll Do:

Lead the deployment of Beltservice's global transportation strategy across LTL, FTL, parcel, air, and ocean.

Manage international freight from our strong global supply base into the U.S., Mexico & Canada ensuring cost efficiency and reliability.

Optimize carrier selection, routing guides, and compliance programs to reduce cost and improve service.

Drive freight strategies, ensuring recovery and margin improvement.

Standardize global warehouse and inventory practices, achieving >98% inventory accuracy.

Oversee TMS deployment, ERP integration, and adoption of automation/dashboards.

Build and maintain a Transportation & Inventory Center of Excellence, driving continuous improvement.

Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Sourcing, Operations, and Finance to align logistics with company goals.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or 10+ years of equivalent experience).

5+ years in logistics, inventory management, and transportation optimization.

Proven experience in multi-site logistics network optimization and warehouse standardization.

Strong analytical skills and ERP/TMS experience (Microsoft Dynamics F&O preferred).

Strategic thinker who thrives in execution and cross-functional collaboration.

Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits, carrier reviews, and project execution (domestic and international).

The Details:

Transportation Strategy & Execution

Develop and deploy a scalable, enterprise-wide transportation strategy covering LTL, FTL, parcel, ocean, and air freight.

Oversee carrier selection, routing guides, and compliance programs to ensure optimized cost, service, and transit consistency.

Implement mode selection standards driven by cost-to-serve, lead time, and customer requirements.

Inventory & Material Flow Optimization

Oversee global standards for receiving, shipping, and material handling processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Lead cycle counting programs, variance analysis, and corrective action implementation to drive >98% inventory accuracy.

Establish ABC inventory classification standards and replenishment models to improve service levels and reduce working capital.

Ensure production material flow meets customer demand requirements with minimal waste and handling delays.

Implement consistent warehouse layout, racking, labeling, and 5S standards across all sites.

Drive automation adoption in warehouse and shipping operations, including barcode scanning, TMS integration, and KPI dashboards.

Ensure material handlers and shipping teams are trained in standardized processes and safety best practices.

Data, Visibility, & Control

Centralize freight and inventory data to create standardized, actionable analytics for leadership and site teams.

Develop dashboards to track carrier performance, delivery metrics, inventory turns, and warehouse productivity.

Use data-driven decision-making to identify bottlenecks and optimize material flow and transportation.

Financial & Cost Optimization

Drive freight cost savings through carrier consolidation, network optimization, and RFQ processes.

Improve inventory accuracy to reduce adjustments, write-offs, and expedite costs.

Leverage economies of scale in material handling equipment and warehouse operations.

Technology & Process Optimization

Lead TMS roadmap execution and ERP integration.

Deploy predictive analytics and real-time tracking tools to improve capacity planning and disruption response.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with Sourcing, Operations, Sales, and Finance to align logistics and inventory strategies with company goals.

Coordinate with BU leaders, plant managers, and warehouse supervisors to ensure consistent execution of global standards.

Continuous Improvement

Champion continuous improvement in warehouse, shipping, and material handling operations.

Lead Kaizen events to improve flow, reduce touch points, and enhance space utilization.

Maintain the Transportation & Inventory Center of Excellence to share best practices and train site leaders.

Benefits:
