Play a Leading Role in Building the Healthiest Generation of Children
Physician Recruiter | Nemours Children's Health - Orlando, FL (Hybrid)

Nemours Children's Health, Florida is hiring an experienced Physician Recruiter to support our continued growth in Central Florida-home to one of the fastest-growing pediatric populations in the country. This hybrid role, based in Orlando, will be central to shaping the clinical teams that deliver on our bold vision: creating the healthiest generation of children and building the healthiest workforce in pediatric healthcare.

You will play a key role in advancing Whole Child Health by identifying, engaging, and hiring outstanding physicians and advanced practice provider (APP) talent. This position is part of a high-performing, mission-driven team responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from strategy development and candidate outreach to interview coordination and onboarding.

With a $300 million expansion underway at our Orlando campus - including a new 110,000 sq. ft. hospital expansion, a 75,000 sq. ft. surgery center, and a state-of-the-art administrative building - this is a rare opportunity to help build a clinical workforce from the ground up. We are actively recruiting physicians and APPs across multiple specialties to meet increased demand, and we need a recruiter who is energized by challenge, driven by purpose, and passionate about healthcare excellence.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for physician and APP roles in collaboration with hiring leaders and clinical departments.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent across specialties.
  • Build strong partnerships with physician leaders, HR business partners, and administrative stakeholders.
  • Create and post job advertisements; source candidates using multiple platforms and direct outreach.
  • Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, facilitate offers, and manage the hiring process.
  • Attend local and national conferences to support pipeline development and physician engagement.
  • Travel to Nemours Children's locations as needed to support candidate experience and recruitment events.
  • Maintain accurate records using our applicant tracking system (ATS); analyze data and generate recruitment reports.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field).
  • In lieu of a degree, 3-5 years of physician/provider recruitment experience will be considered.
  • 1-3 years of physician recruitment experience required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in clinical healthcare recruitment highly preferred.
  • Proven success in high-volume recruitment and candidate sourcing.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and web-based recruitment platforms.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external candidates.
  • Some travel required (local and regional).
  • AAPPR or SHRM credentials preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong writing skills required.
  • Oracle experience a plus.
