Who You Are:
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing both administrative tasks and facility operations. You understand that workplace safety isn't a checkbox--it's a daily commitment--and you take pride in maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-functioning environment. You're proactive, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments. Strong communication skills, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to stay focused in a dynamic setting are key to your success in this role.

What the Job Is:
The Operations Administrator provides essential support to the NW Timberlands division, overseeing day-to-day office operations, facility maintenance, and the division's safety administration efforts. This position plays a key role in keeping our Main Office and Colonial House running effectively and--just as importantly--safely. Ensure compliance with fire codes, safety regulations, and building standards for the Main Office and Colonial House.
Manage regular safety inspections and address maintenance needs to reduce hazards.
Coordinate building projects, working with contractors and vendors to meet safety and quality standards.
Monitor and communicate safety-related information, including building access, security, and seasonal fire line updates.
Serve as a key administrative support for the division's safety program, including:

Tracking and documenting safety training
Preparing meeting materials and minutes
Assisting the safety chairperson and participating in the division's overall safety efforts

Participate in the company's broader safety initiatives and maintain awareness of changing safety regulations.
Manage office supply procurement, custodial coordination, and facility budgets.
Serve as the point person for the Contract Management System, ensuring proper routing, documentation, and insurance compliance.
Provide general administrative support: routing phone calls, greeting visitors, assisting with meeting setup, and handling mail and shipping.

What the Team is Like:
This role works at the intersection of safety, legal, operations, and facilities teams. Success in this position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of the importance of workplace safety and operational integrity. At Green Diamond, we expect every team member to contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration.

What You Need:

Two or more years of office administration experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience supporting or participating in safety programs or compliance efforts is highly valued.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) and familiarity with databases.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, use sound judgment, and work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
