Essential Responsibilities

  • Supports the HR department and employees across the organization. This role is responsible for assisting with HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, recordkeeping, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manages time management process ensuring timekeeping, time-off requests, and time-off balances are accurate.
  • Supports the corporate recruitment process:
    • Schedules candidates for interviews with hiring managers and coordinates candidate travel as necessary.
    • Greets candidates upon arrival and escorts them to interviews.
    • Assists with initial resume screening for positions with high candidate volume.
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the sales rep credentialing program including:
    • Tracks and maintains data related to sales rep credentialing including data entry in credentialing system, routine maintenance of electronic credentialing files as well as answering routine questions credentialing questions.
    • Tracks certifications using MedTrainer and notifies reps and sales management when courses are due to expire.
    • Assists with preparations for credentialing efforts:
      • Communicates with the sales force regarding testing needs and procedures
      • Receives and organizes lab results, including drug and alcohol screening results
      • Updates authorized representative letters according to compliance requirements
      • Uploads all documentation to credentialing websites timely to ensure seamless facility access
      • Ensures digital credentialing files are complete and updated; distributes result records to the sales force for their personal records
    • Provides The Work Number information in response to verbal and employment verification requests.
    • Maintains and updates digital employee records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Provide frontline support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Ensures all AAP applicant information is accurate in support of the company's Affirmative Action efforts.
    • Maintains and tracks all training files and database information in support of FDA compliance.
    • Assists human resources on special projects as needed.
    • Provides support and is the subject matter expert for the creation of human resources related PowerPoint presentations.
    • Supports safety efforts by managing SDS database, coordinating training events and drills. Supports delivery of annual training in collaboration with the quality & regulatory department.
    • Assists with event planning and meeting set-up for all departments.
    • Sorts and delivers mail to headquarters.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate degree in related field required; strong preference for those with a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a human resources or administrative capacity required; strong preference for healthcare or other regulated industry experience.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws is a plus.

  • Successful candidates will have demonstrated communications skills both verbal and written; must communicate well on the telephone.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required including the ability to interface with other departments and management, when necessary.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner.
  • Excellent computer skills required, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Office products; must have demonstrated expertise in creation of PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to think and make decisions independently with limited direction a must.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is an individual contributor and has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses office and computer equipment typical of similar positions. This position is in-office with eligibility for company's hybrid work schedule.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer are routinely required. The employee frequently is required to lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds. Please refer to the Position Analysis/Physical Activities Checklist on file in Human Resources.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
This position may require occasional travel, particularly to our separate logistics and service center in Kennesaw, Georgia.
