We are seeking a skilled Electrical Energy Marshal to oversee the safe and efficient energization of electrical systems during all phases of construction and commissioning. This critical role ensures strict adherence to safety procedures while supporting field teams, commissioning agents, and operational goals.

What youll be doing:
Oversee and manage controlled, phased energization of all electrical systems. Coordinate energization activities across construction, commissioning, and operations teams. Enforce strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Maintain a master energization schedule, ensuring seamless transitions and readiness. Lead daily energization coordination meetings with contractors and project stakeholders. Verify all panels, switchgear, and systems are inspected and tested before energization. Supervise the installation and maintenance of temporary power systems. Ensure full compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and site-specific safety standards. Identify and mitigate electrical safety hazards. Document all energization activities for audit, compliance, and turnover. Develop an energy control plan with a default basis of design being NFPA 70E Ensures and incident and injury free program Reviews and approves Method of Procedures (MOP) and Action Plans (AP) to ensure all tasks are properly completed Perform Dry run of MOP with all stake holders Be present for any switching activities during a MOP execution. Updates and audit plant status Collaborate with Safety and Quality teams to maintain top-tier QA/QC standards. Provide regular updates to senior leadership and project management

What were looking for:
NFPA 70E Certification (Electrical Safety in the Workplace). 10+ years of experience in electrical construction, commissioning, or facilities operations. Expert knowledge of LOTO procedures, temporary power, and electrical safety standards. Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and construction drawings. Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Comfortable leading field teams and conducting safety training. Familiarity with commissioning software and project management tools (Procore preferred). Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and basic computer skills. Flexibility to travel and work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Valid drivers license and solid understanding of electrical installations.
