Role Summary

The Sr. Manager, Benefit Programs, reporting to our Director of Global Benefits, is responsible for operational oversight and supporting the execution of global benefits programs and strategy. This role will be responsible for project and vendor management, development of key metrics and monitoring vendor and plan performance in partnership with regional Benefits' leaders. The incumbent will collaborate across departments to support the organization's goals, drive efficient and effective processes, and enhance employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and manage key benefits projects globally, including annual open enrollments, ensuring timely execution and alignment with company objectives. Support annual strategic planning processes, help track progress completion, and ensure alignment of work to HR strategic drivers.

  • Process Management: Develop and maintain the annual calendar of activities, processes, and communications related to benefits programs. Identify opportunities for global synergy vs. regional approach.

  • Operational Efficiency: Develop and manage templates and files to drive operational efficiency and establish standards for reporting, communications and other practices. Support policy implementation by partnering with HRSS, Payroll, HRIS to discuss how to operationalize policy components in the most automated way, providing HR Digital teams with thorough business requirements.

  • Communications Coordination: Plan, lead, and execute benefits communications strategies to ensure employees are informed and engaged, working closely with communications partners to ensure alignment to firmwide strategies.

  • US Retirement Plan Support: Collaborate with RPS and support the US Retirement Manager on QDROs, audits, and other key initiatives as identified.

  • Benchmarking and Surveys: Manage the benchmarking survey process, submit responses to annual external surveys (e.g., Mercer, Aon, McLagan), in partnership with regional managers analyze results and develop reporting templates to support strategic planning.

  • Vendor Management: Oversee global vendor management functions, including invoice processing and liaising with vendors and team members on SOWs, PIAs, etc. in partnership with the analyst role. Document challenges and identify improvement opportunities. In partnership with Benefits Director, monitor budgets and support annual planning processes.

  • Content Creation: Lead the creation of benefits content for the annual sustainability report and other one-off requests.

  • Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor regulatory updates and changes in partnership with Legal/Compliance, providing support as needed; report pending global and regional changes to Benefits Lead Team, assure strategies are in place to address regulatory requirements within required timelines.

  • Case Management Support: Address case management inquiries escalated from HRSS.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND -8+ years of total relevant work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits management or a related area with supervisory experience.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to benefits programs

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Workday systems

Preferred:

  • Experience in a global organization

  • Financial services industry experience

  • PMP certification

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with Visier or similar software & ability to analyze data and provide strategic insights

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$108,000.00 - $184,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$119,000.00 - $203,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$135,000.00 - $230,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
