Athletics Email Marketing Coordinator (Finance)



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail- oriented Email Marketing Coordinator to join the Bulls Branding Agency, the agency of record for the South Florida Athletic Department.

The Athletics Email Marketing Coordinator will focus on developing and executing targeted email and mobile marketing campaigns to drive ticket sales, increase fan engagement, and support overall revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with email and mobile marketing strategy, audience segmentation, automation, and performance analysis. Experience with mobile marketing platforms and customer journey optimization is a plus.Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree -OR- equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Sports Management, or a related field
  • Experience in email and mobile marketing (preferably in college athletics)
  • Experience with email and mobile marketing platforms (Ticketmaster experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to adjust and improve campaign performance.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.

  • Plan and execute a strategic email and mobile marketing plan to promote ticket sales, fan engagement, and special events.
  • Create and schedule targeted email and push notification campaigns, including pre-sale announcements, game-day updates, promotional offers, etc.
  • Ensure campaigns are accurately delivered on time and aligned with South Florida athletics' marketing goals.
  • Work with the CRM Manager to manage subscriber lists and audience segmentation.
  • Help track campaign performance and adjust targeting strategies based on fan engagement.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and provide regular performance reports and actionable insights for campaign optimization and effectiveness.
  • Monitor campaign results and provide insights to improve engagement and effectiveness.
  • Support Athletic Brand testing to optimize messaging, design, and timing.
  • Manage and maintain email campaigns' sponsorship elements
  • Assist in designing and editing basic graphics for emails and push notifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
