Summary of Responsibility:

The role of Manager, Contract Management, is responsible for supervision and mentoring a team of hybrid/remote Contract Administrators in their day-to-day roles of receiving, reviewing, ordering, and managing all aspects of new capital equipment purchases from our customers. This position plays an integral role in delivering positive customer experience via accurate on time and on budget delivery of each customer order. The manager will also be responsible for the order process starting with the order transfer from our sales engineers all the way through the delivery of products and services to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer first mentality and centric theme to daily function.
  • Supervise remote team for adherence with existing practices.
  • Maintain existing process documentation and update and develop new procedures as needed.
  • Train new team members and find opportunities for continuing education for existing team members.
  • Supervise order volume and complexity to ensure appropriate distribution of workload.
  • Work with Sales Engineers, Management, and local Presidents to review and understand customer orders.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure that CA is providing timely and effective support across the organization.
  • Work with Accounting and maintain basic knowledge of accounting concepts such as A/R, A/P, & G/L for use daily.
  • Collaborate with IT, Sales, and other internal departments to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments in the field.

    Qualifications and competencies:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or related field is required.
    • Minimum five years of management experience in a business-related field, preferably with experience managing remote teams
    • Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365
    • Advanced proficiency with PowerBI reports
    • Experience developing workflows and standard operating procedures
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups, both professional and non-professional, co-workers, management personnel, the public and others
    • Ability to work independently and solve complex problems with little oversight
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize accordingly.
    • Ability to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision
    • Solid written and verbal communication, listening, organization and priority setting skills required.
