Manager-Child and Adult Welfare Care Management (Primarily Remote, North Carolina Based) (Healthcare)
The Manager of Child and Adult Welfare Care Management provides support, supervision, and development of Care Manager Supervisors within the Care Management Department at all Alliance locations. The Manager will also assist in building and overseeing an efficient care management system to support at risk youth in various programs, with a focus on those in DSS custody, members receiving adoption assistance, and former foster youth. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with members, families and healthcare community. Coordinating different teams to foster an exchange of ideas and promote team collaboration and learning opportunities.
The selected candidate is required to reside in North Carolina within 40 miles of one of the counties within the Alliance catchment areas (Mecklenburg, Wake, Durham, Orange, Johnston, Harnett, or Cumberland). This position will allow the successful candidate to work a schedule that will be primarily remote. While there is no expectation of being in the office routinely, they will be required to come into the Alliance Office for business and team meetings as needed or for travel within the Alliance catchment area.

Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services and five (5) years post graduate degree experience with at least two (2) years of applicable experience with the population served, including experience with case management/discharge planning in one of the following settings: Acute care, Home care, LTC care, Physician Office or Managed Care. Must be licensed in North Carolina as a LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT or RN.
Or
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with licensure as a registered nurse and five (5) years of experience with at least two (2) years of applicable experience with the population served, including experience with case management/discharge planning in one of the following settings: Acute care, Home care, LTC care, Physician Office or Managed Care.
Preferred:
NACCM or CCM certification is preferred.
Knowledge and experience collaborating with county departments of social services, department of juvenile justice, crisis response, and community-based treatment providers including training highly preferred.
