Data Entry Clerk (Administrative)



Title: Data Entry Clerk
Reports to: Materials Management

Job Description:
The Data Entry Clerk will accurately and efficiently enter data into company software systems to track inventory, production, and material requirements. This role requires exceptional typing skills, proficient in with data entry tools and office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel), and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be proficient in English and thrive in a fast-paced, open office or manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Accurately enter data from various source documents into designated software systems.
Compare entered data with source documents and perform verification checks to ensure accuracy.
Maintain and update company databases with timely and accurate information.
Document and track completed work, maintaining organized records.
Import and export data between different software applications as required.
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and responsiveness to requests.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data analysis, reporting, formulas).
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience with MRP systems (specify which system if applicable).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and procedures in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Ability to work independently
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to multi-task at a high-level while being detail oriented
