Production Assembler- 1st Shift (Manufacturing)
At Magnetic Specialties, we build custom transformers and other magnetic devices for our customers. As a small but busy shop, our Production Assemblers are a key part of the team, essentially putting pieces together to solve a life-sized customer-product puzzle! It takes attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions but once you get the hang of it, itll be consistent and predictable work.
What youll do
As a Production Assembler at Magnetic Specialties in Telford, PA, youll work Monday through Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm, assembling transformers for our customers. This is an entry-level position for us, so with the right attitude, machine operating or manufacturing experience, and a willingness to learn, we are more than happy to train you on all aspects of the role and provide growth opportunities. Day-to-day youll:
Read and understand customer prints to assemble productsUse various hand and power toolsPick parts and move products using a crane forklift (training provided!) Maintain clean and orderly work areaFollow work instructions and complete all customer labeling/packaging requirementsWork efficiently while ensuring company quality standards are maintained
What you need to thrive in this role
High School Diploma or GED, preferredMachine operating or manufacturing experience requiredA willingness to learn and follow instructionBe a team-oriented, reliable, safety-minded, individualThe ability to lift, bend, reach, and stand on a daily basis Prior soldering, simple welding, or fabrication experience is a plus but we are willing to train!
