Pot Washer - Washington Hilton (Finance)

Washington Hilton is looking for a Pot Washer to join their Stewarding team! With about 120,000 square feet of meeting space and 3 Food & Beverage outlets, this property is located in the heart of Washington, DC and is the home to amazing events and guests.

The ideal candidate will hold comparable experience in the stewarding department or Food and Beverage and have full availability to work the ever changing schedule of hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to begin their hospitality career.

Shift Pattern: Fluctuating schedules over AM, MID and PM shifts, starting as early as 7AM and ending as late as 12.30-1AM, weekdays, weekends and Holidays availability required.

Pay Range: $21.80 - $29.07 per hour, based on experience

What will I be doing?

As a Pot Washer, you would be responsible for c leaning pots/pans/skillets/cooking utensils, transporting and storing them as needed, as well as cleaning and mopping area floors and surroundings in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company: • Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Clean and dry floors to avoid slip/fall accidents.
• Perform other duties as requested, such as moving supplies and equipment, cleaning up spills, etc.
• Assist the chefs prepare food plates for functions as necessary.
